What happens at the One Hour Audition Lesson?

During the One Hour Audition Lesson:

• The enquiring student (and their guardians) is/are able to become familiar with the studio and the Amaranth teaching method;
• The enquiring student, (their guardians) and Allison discuss in a relaxed atmosphere his/her experience, goals and aspirations;
• Allison introduces the enquiring student to some fundamental vocal technique and helps him/her to explore his/her range through exercise;
• The enquiring student starts to work with Allison on a song at his/her own pace;
• Allison discusses with the enquiring student (and their guardians) whether she thinks that the student is compatible enough to continue regular lessons with her. Allison also gives a basic overview of what she anticipates the enquiring student would cover in his/her first term of lessons should he/she choose to continue.
